DoveLewis Third Thursday Rounds

All doctors and support staff in the community are invited to attend their Third Thursday Rounds (on the third Thursday of every month).

The Use of Bacterial Cultures in Veterinary Medicine

Hannah Marshall, DVM, DACVECC

Bacterial cultures are regularly used in the treatment of conditions such as pneumonia, sepsis, gall bladder disease, and complex wounds. When collected and evaluated properly, cultures can provide life-saving options for your patients. Join Critical Care Specialist Hannah Marshall, DVM, DACVECC, in this one hour lecture about the collection, interpretation, and use of bacterial cultures in emergency veterinary medicine.

7 - 7:30pm Beer, wine, and food catered by Smokin Fire Fish

7:30 - 8:30pm Lecture

Cost: FREE

We invite all doctors and support staff in the community to attend our 3rd Thursday Rounds. Attendees receive one Oregon* or Washington CE credit for each meeting. DVMs cannot earn CE credit by attending technician lectures, but technicians can earn CE credit by attending DVM lectures.

Rounds cover all topics in veterinary medicine. DVM lecture topics are geared towards veterinarians, while our technician lecture topics are geared toward technicians and support staff. Technicians and support staff are welcome to attend DVM lectures and vice versa. DVM and technician lectures rotate monthly (unless a management topic is being offered instead). At least two management lectures are offered per year.
