--We have cancelled this meeting--

In light of the evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic, we want to ensure we are doing our part to help minimize the spread of the virus, especially to those family and community members that are most vulnerable.

The PVMA Board of Directors will be working on ways we can still provide CE and other support to our community members while social-distancing is recommended.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we all navigate this together.

Triaditis: Bad things come in threes

In this presentation, we will discuss the diagnostic plan, treatment options and overall prognosis for triaditis in cats. We will touch on how to prioritize diagnostics and when to implement empiric therapy for cats owned by owners with various financial limitations.  We will finish with a quick review of the most recent literature on triaditis in cats.

Dr. Casey Sleznikow, Columbia River Veterinary Specialists

Dr. Casey Sleznikow is the newest addition to Columbia River Veterinary Specialists Internal Medicine team. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in 2010 and graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. Following veterinary school, she completed a one-year rotating internship in 2016 and a three-year internal medicine residency in 2019 both at the University of Minnesota Veterinary Medical Center. She enjoys the challenges of internal medicine, and has a particularly strong interest in infectious diseases and immune mediated conditions. Dr. Sleznikow was born and raised in Wisconsin along the Mississippi River and has spent most of her life in Wisconsin and Minnesota. After visiting the Pacific Northwest, she quickly realized it was a place she wanted to call home and made the move west. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, biking, cooking, drinking craft beers and good coffee, and spending quality time with her husband, dog, and two cats.
