Gary Goldstein DVM, FAVD, DAVDC
Prior to joining Lakefield Veterinary Group, Gary served on the faculty at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine as Professor and Section Chief of the Veterinary Dentistry and Oral Surgery service. He also acted as Associate Medical Director of the Veterinary Medical Center, where he was responsible for medical operations, strategic planning, and implementation of medical standards. He implemented leading-edge didactic and clinical programs that fostered innovation, teamwork, and continuing education programs achieved research distinction, and educated the next generation of veterinarians.
He has also served as president and owner of the Texas Veterinary Dental Clinic and Medical Director of the Veterinary Emergency Referral Group Inc. in Houston, Texas.
He graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. He is a Charter Fellow of the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry and is Board Certified in Veterinary Dentistry and Oral Surgery. He was on the faculty at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine from 2002 to 2014, was on the board of directors of the American Veterinary Dental College as recording secretary from 2003 to 2014, and is a past president of the American Veterinary Dental Society.
